Tributes given to educational innovator Del Harnish

Delsworth Harnish, vice-dean of undergraduate education for the Faculty of Health Sciences, has died after a short illness. Harnish established unique programs including the Integrated Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences program known as iBioMed with the Faculty of Engineering.

McMaster maintains status as Canada’s most research-intensive university

For the second consecutive year, McMaster has been named Canada’s most research-intensive university in the annual ranking of the country’s Top 50 Research Universities. McMaster researchers brought in $379.9 million in total sponsored research income – up more than $25 million from last year.
