We sat down with Dr. Greg Zilberbrant, an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Booth School, to discuss his career in sustainability spanning both industrial and academic spheres. Additionally, we delved into how his organization, Beyond21 Academy, in partnership with the Booth School, is creating a meaningful impact through experiential learning. Explore his unique journey and insights, as well as McMaster’s significant role in it all.
This past July, the Booth School hosted over 80 international students from countries including Korea, Mexico, Germany as part of the International Design Engineering Education Association (IDEEA) Forum, an annual engineering and design challenge designed to inspire students in addressing global issues through innovative product design.
Booth School Community Engagement Coordinators Salman Bawa and Richard Allen took home the 2023 MSU Community Engagement Award on behalf of the School at the MSU Teaching Award Ceremony in late March. The award is presented annually to instructors who have shown a dedication to the integration and inclusion of community engagement education at McMaster.
