Support our students, contribute to clubs and teams, empower community outreach

At McMaster Engineering, we put students at the center of their education. We are deeply committed to supporting our students throughout their journey and creating experiences that will prepare them for today’s changing dynamic world.

Here are a few ways you can choose to support our students:

  • Entrance awards
  • Undergraduate scholarships, bursaries, and academic grants
  • Graduate scholarships
  • Research experience awards
  • Travel and exchange scholarships

There are over 70 engineering clubs, teams, committees, conferences, and competitions at the Faculty of Engineering, with more than 1,500 members. Students enhance their technical and non-technical skills, all the while getting involved in experiential learning opportunities that enrich their education, allow them to explore new collaborations, and contribute to their social development and academic success.

With your support, our clubs and teams dominate the podiums worldwide. Learn more about ways our students gain experience.

We are passionate about providing STEM opportunities to youth in our community and beyond. With your help, we can work to provide first-rate, barrier-free, transformational learning opportunities from early childhood to young adults. Some of our programs include:

  • Go ENG Girl
  • Go CODE Girl

Make an impact through research, become a corporate partner, establish your legacy

McMaster Engineering has a well-established reputation as one of Canada’s most research-intensive faculties in a range of disciplines from advanced manufacturing, materials, automotive, and nuclear research. We continue to push the boundaries of discovery in emerging areas, such as bio-innovation, micro-nano technology, smart systems, energy and environmental sustainability. Moreover, we provide more opportunities to participate in research as an undergraduate engineering student than any university in Canada.

You can be a part of this groundbreaking innovation by supporting:

A collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering could mean many things for your company:

  • Access to world-class faculty members and research partnerships
  • A place at the forefront of student recruitment for co-op and careers
  • Recognition for our exceptional and innovative student body
  • Becoming a leader in the transformation of engineering education
  • … and more!

Many of our alumni and friends have planned to leave a gift in their will to McMaster as a way of saying thank you and giving back to an institution that has truly impacted their lives. In many cases, these funds bear the name of the donors, forever preserving their link to McMaster.

Your gift can support the emerging opportunities of our faculty or be designated to establish an endowment for a research chair, scholarship, award or bursary. We would be pleased to work with you to ensure that your personal objectives are met.
