Aly, a 20-year Silicon Valley innovator, engineer and serial entrepreneur, will share his entrepreneurial journey, reflect on his experiences at McMaster Engineering and offer invaluable advice to aspiring young innovators.
As the founder of Tonal, an innovative, in-home smart gym, Aly is on a quest for better health and fitness. His startup grew rapidly during the pandemic and has established relationships with superstar athlete-entrepreneurs like Serena Williams, Lebron James and Stephen Curry.

About the Speaker

Aly Orady is a proud McMaster alumnus, graduating from the Electrical & Computer Engineering program in 1998. With a career spanning over two decades in Silicon Valley, Aly has made significant contributions as an engineer and serial entrepreneur. He began his career as a hardware engineer at Hewlett-Packard’s Computer Systems Laboratory and later took on technical leadership roles at various startups. Aly founded Pano Logic, and more recently, he created the innovative in-home smart gym company, Tonal. Aly’s journey is driven by a passion for purposeful innovation and a commitment to making a positive impact on people’s lives. He is also dedicated to mentoring future entrepreneurs, encouraging them to dream bigger and achieve their fullest potential.
