The Engineering & Management program is a prestigious five-year degree that combines an undergraduate engineering degree with a strong foundation in business.
Through integrated coursework in organizational behaviour, finance, marketing, accounting and strategy, students graduate with a unique skill set that empowers them to lead, innovate and make strategic decisions in technical environments.
By the end of the program, students will be able to:
- Solve complex engineering problems using technical expertise, creativity and systems thinking
- Apply core business principles to make informed, strategic decisions in engineering and organizational contexts
- Lead and manage high-performing teams, demonstrating strong collaboration, communication and project management skills
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences through professional reports, presentations and digital tools
- Drive innovation by identifying opportunities, developing solutions and delivering compelling proposals in real-world settings

Admissionrequirements
Engineering 1 students may apply to the program near the end of their first year.
This is a highly competitive program and entrance is based on your cumulative average; only 150 students are admitted each year.
To be considered for entry into the program, Engineering 1 students must complete Economics 1B03 – Microeconomics as a complementary studies elective and achieve a minimum grade of 5.0 (63%).
Please note that Computer Science, iBioMed, and Bachelor of Technology students are not eligible to apply for the program.
