MEng – Engineering and Public Policy course selection form

For the following program requirements, please list all courses that you are intending to take for your program, including courses that you have not yet enrolled in on Mosaic.

Please enter both the term and year that you will be taking a course. There are three terms per academic year, and there are no breaks in our programs. The three terms are:

1. Fall
2. Winter
3. Spring/Summer

   For example, if a course is offered in the Fall term of 2023, you would enter Fall 2023 in the box under “Term to be taken.”

   If you are unsure about courses in the future, the current course timetable can be used as a guide for when each course will be offered in the academic year, however, please note that we cannot guarantee that a course will be offered each year. Please estimate the term that you will be taking that course.

   Important: There are no breaks in the programs. Please enroll in every term.

Note on “term of study”: the term of study is determined by your start term. If you started in January (Winter) 2024, then your 2nd term of study would be the Spring/Summer 2024 term, and your third term would be Fall 2024.

All students are required to take 1 Cross-Disciplinary Course, chosen from the following.

If you wish to take more than cross-disciplinary course, only the first one will be counted towards your cross-disciplinary requirement. Any others can be listed under Focus Electives. Any extra cross-disciplinary courses must receive Program Lead approval first.

An in-program course adjustment form may be required for a course to be counted towards your program requirements. You can check with your graduate administrative assistant to see if a course will require this form.
