McMaster University’s Nuclear Operations & Facilities (NOF), alongside the Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Science, are pleased to host Nuclear Now: Voices of Talent in the Evolving Nuclear Industry for the 3rd consecutive year.
This exciting event will bring together undergraduate and graduate students from across a wide variety of programs and academic backgrounds to connect with professionals and experts who are shaping the future of nuclear energy, medicine, and technology.
Nuclear Now will feature:
- An exciting panel of nuclear industry leaders, including McMaster alumni, themed around opportunities and pathways in Canada’s evolving nuclear industries
- Dedicated industry networking time with students at organization booths staffed by recruiters
- Catered refreshments and appetizers
Participants will learn about diverse career paths in nuclear energy and science, including the nuclear power sector, the medical isotope supply chain, health physics, nuclear regulation and policy, and more.
Students will also gain insights into the skills and qualifications that employers are looking for and discover how their education can lead to a rewarding and impactful career. This event is the student gateway to exploring the dynamic and high-demand world of nuclear careers!
