We’re excited to offer exceptional camp experiences for summer 2026:

Our full-day, in-person summer camps at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario offer campers an exciting opportunity to explore engineering through hands-on, interactive activities. Designed and led by undergraduate students from McMaster’s prestigious Faculty of Engineering, our camps provide high-quality instruction and mentorship.

Campers will engage in real-world engineering challenges, develop critical thinking skills, and experience various engineering fields. It’s a unique chance to explore the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.

The camp day runs from 9:00 – 4:00. Before and after care are available.

Engineering Camps: Flare AND/OR Fireball (for those entering grades 2-8)

About the program

Our engineering camps offer campers the chance to explore a wide range of engineering themes through hands-on, engaging projects designed for curious creators.

This year, we’ve created two camp experiences – Fireball and Flare. While both experiences feature a wide range of STEM activities, like a coding, building challenges, lab visits, and more – the activities that campers work on will be different  between Fireball to Flare. For example, in the Flare experience, campers might build a bridge for the building challenge, while in Fireball they might design a parachute.

Now, families can register for up to two weeks without repeated content by choosing one week in Fireball and one in Flare. This gives campers even more opportunities to discover!

Students entering Grade 2 – 8 as of September 2026 should enroll in this program.

The one-week program is offered for 7 different weeks of the summer. The content is repeated for all weeks of the summer.

Engineering Immersive Experience AND/OR Engineering Design Studio

Engineering Immersive Experience (Grades 9–12)
Perfect for high school students ready to take their STEM journey to the next level, this experience features advanced labs in biology, chemistry, physics, 3D printing, soldering and more.

 

NEW​ Engineering Design Studio (Grades 9–12)
A brand-new, dynamic program featuring a week-long engineering design challenge where students imagine, prototype and present solutions to real-world problems.
