Join us for Three Minute Thesis

3MT is a world-renowned research pitch competition format that allows participants one slide to clearly communicate a research topic in three minutes. This pitch competition is part public speaking challenge, part storytelling exercise and part celebration of your innovative research.

With one static slide and three minutes, the goal is to communicate your complex research topic in a clear, engaging and accessible way for a general audience.

This event is hosted by Dr. Todd Hoare, in partnership with the Faculty of Engineering and the McMaster Society for Engineering Research. Presentations will be judged by a non-expert panel with prize winners to be announced at the Faculty of Engineering’s Summer Research Poster Showcase on August 20^th.
