The McMaster Engineering Young Alumni Leadership Award recognizes alumni who are driving positive change in their careers and communities. Awarded annually to an alumni who has distinguished themselves as an emerging leader with a passion for propelling the field of engineering forward. Nominees should have attained significant early-career achievements and demonstrate positive contributions to their profession, community or to the university. Nominees must have received their undergraduate degree within the last fifteen years or a graduate degree within the last ten years. Peer and self-nominations are accepted. Selections are made by a committee comprised of staff and faculty. The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering provides final approval. The 2026 award winner will be recognized at this year’s Young Alumni Event in November.
