Overview

Dr. Bryan Lee teaches in the first-year engineering program and in the department of Materials Science & Engineering. His teaching interests include biomaterials, statistics, and sustainability.

His research interests are in understanding the cell-biomaterial interface, creation of new biomaterials and the development of new evaluation techniques/methods.

Block Heading

Dr. Lee obtained his B.Eng.Biosciences in Chemical and Bioengineering from McMaster in 2014 followed by a Ph.D in Biomedical Engineering at McMaster in 2020. He has also been a course developer, sessional instructor and research engineer within the department of Materials Science & Engineering between 2021 and 2022.

Dr. Lee worked as a Research Officer for the Lassonde School of Engineering at York University as well as a Senior Institutional Analyst in York’s Office of Institutional Planning & Analysis under the Office of the Provost (2020-2022). His time at York focused on grant/award writing, development of EDI policies, education on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), and benchmarking of institutional performance.
