Grade 9 Biology - Environmental Engineering (Sustainable Ecosystems) Workshop

This project will integrate biological concepts with technology and innovation to demonstrate the integration between science and engineering. Investigate adaptation of organisms by building and simulating a model of phototropism in plants, demonstrating that certain plants turn to face the sun as it moves through the sky. This system will be modeled using simple electrical and software concepts as an Arduino and breadboard mechanism created online. This project is sure to extend on your knowledge of biological systems and open your eyes to new and exciting opportunities in biology and technology. 

Virtual workshop content will be available to those who have completed the online registration. Please encourage other co-workers to complete the online registration in order to access the video material so we can maintain the integrity of our tracking systems. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
