Entrance Scholarships Application Form 2018-2019

The scholarship application deadline has passed. Any submissions receieved after February 15th may not be reviewed. There are over $1,000,000 in scholarships available! ONLY ONE APPLICATION is required to be considered for all eligible awards. All supporting documentation can be attached to this form.

Scholarship winners will also receive an Undergraduate Summer Research Award in the summer after first year.

Please note: Only Canadian citizens, Canadian permanent residents, and international students who complete their final year of high school in Canada are eligible for these entrance awards. Students must be admitted and enrolled in full-time first-year degree studies within the McMaster Faculty of Engineering and who are beginning post-secondary studies for the first time in September 2019.

Please submit two (2) letters of reference. Reference letters should support your leadership experiences and attributes as well as your involvement in extra-curricular activities in your school or community. If you are involve with FIRST Robotics, SHAD, or DECA please ensure that at least one (1) of your letters of reference verifies your involvement (i.e. a teacher, community member, or organization member involved with the group). Release of Information
We sometimes receive request for information about award recipients from donors who sponsor specific awards or from University departments who have contact with these donors. Although it is normal practice to release the recipient's name, we could be asked for the program of study, year, address (including email) or telephone number.
