Overview

In this session, you will be introduced to how you can use digital ink (writing and annotating) in an online learning environment. The session is geared towards beginners and will show examples of how you can use digital ink in your teaching. The session will also introduce the pros and cons of different hardware (drawing tablets/tablets) and software (OneNote, PowerPoint/Whiteboard) options for using digital ink in your teaching.

Expected outcomes:  

  • Describe digital inking and how it can be used in teaching
  • Apply digital inking in different applications including OneNote, Whiteboard, PDF, PowerPoint
