2022 Synergize For STEM: In-Person Conference for Girls*

Thursday, June 23rd, 2022, 5:15PM- 9:15PM EDT 

Venture Academy is thrilled to once again host our annual Synergize for STEM event on Thursday, June 23rd, 2022, from 5:15PM-9:15PM EDT for girls* in Grades 6 to 8 AND 9 to 11. This in-person event is hosted completely free of charge for participants and is designed to create a supportive, collaborative, and fun environment for students to connect with each other and discover the excitement of Engineering!  

The event will begin with a Pizza dinner and will continue into engaging and collaborative events designed to support students in reaching their full potential in STEM. We are so excited to welcome participants to McMaster University’s campus in Hamilton to enjoy a hands-on STEM Workshop, as well as Fireside chats with McMaster Engineering Mentors accompanied by Camp Fire snacks. The STEM Workshop will be a design challenge integrated with a circuit design project that focuses on water conservation with a clear connection to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal #6.
