WHMIS 1A00 is a mandatory health and safety course that must be completed in Level 1. Bachelor of Technology students will be automatically enrolled into WHMIS 1A00. This one-hour training session must be completed during the first week of classes and takes approximately one hour. You will complete WHMIS online via Avenue to Learn.

STEP 3: Program specific requirements

Your program has specific requirements that must be completed before you are eligible to enter Level 2.

  • The courses that are specific to your stream are offered in term 2
  • ENGTECH 1MC3 is a prerequisite to 1MT3
  • ENGTECH 1CH3 is a prerequisite to 1AC3
  • ENGTECH 1CP3 is a prerequisite to 1PR3
  • You must complete WHMIS 1A00 before your first lab
  • ENG 1EE0 is an online co-op preperation course that starts during the 3rd week of term 1
