Describe McMaster Engineering in one word: Collaborative

What advice would you share to a prospective student? Take the time to pursue your hobbies, join clubs and spend time with friends because those are the memories that you'll cherish, and what will keep you motivated and happy. University may seem daunting, but you'll surprise yourself with how capable you are of tackling it, and you'll meet lots of amazing people along the way.

How have you immersed yourself in the extra-curricular life and what has been your favourite aspect being involved? I've been involved with the Engineers Without Borders team and the Women in Engineering mentorship program. I've also taken part in many intramural sports teams. The best part of these extracurricular activities is undeniably the people I've met and the friendships I've made.

What's something special and fun we should know about you? A recent foodie. I love trying new foods, but I especially love making it. I spend a lot of my free time scouring cookbooks and the internet for new recipes to try, then experimenting in the kitchen. My new favourite recipe: Pretzels!
