Describe McMaster Engineering in one word: Family

What advice would you share to a prospective student? Put yourself out there. McMaster and McMaster Engineering offer so many great opportunities and you need to go out and take advantage of them. You'll make life long friends, have life changing experiences, and create memories that you'll look back on when you're older that will bring a smile to your face. These will be the best years of your life so far, make the best of them and enjoy every moment. Don't worry about each and every mark, make sure you have a rounded and wholesome experience and immerse yourself in the culture here.

How have you immersed yourself in the extra-curricular life and what has been your favourite aspect being involved? Since coming to McMaster, I've joined intramural sport teams, become a red suit, been apart of the student mentor program with the Faculty of Engineering, taken part in the McMaster Designathon and much more! My favourite part is meeting new people who I have come to call my friends. I get to be apart of the community and give back to it while doing things I enjoy with some amazing people and it really gives an enjoyable break from the academics.

What's something special and fun we should know about you? I started skiing before I turned 1, began racing when I was 5 and I have been a ski coach for the past four years. Nothing better than waking up and blasting through some pow!
