Overview

Dr Rajabzadeh specializes in the field of biochemical engineering with a focus on bioseparation and purification, bioprocess monitoring and control, bioreactor design, and environmental engineering. Much of his research was devoted to exploring novel bioseparation processes for the production of high functional proteins from bioresources with applications in food and pharmaceutical industries. Current research interests include the development of biosensors and on-line analyzers for characterization and long term monitoring of species in complex biological processes, enzyme immobilization and biodiesel production, and multiphysics modelling of biological systems.
