What field of engineering do you hope to specialize in?
Integrated Biomedical Engineering & Health Sciences. I’m specifically interested in the Health Sciences stream and Health Engineering Science Entrepreneurship (HESE). I want to get a taste in everything to do with engineering as well as the production process of how things actually get to the market.

What are your career ambitions?
I would like to pursue a career in medicine. There’s so much room for overlap in the fields of engineering and medicine. Doctors especially don’t always have the same technological understanding that I believe is really important in order to provide the best medical care possible.

Outside of school, what are you most passionate about?
I am passionate about visual design and graphic design. I was a part of my school’s yearbook team in high school and would love to be involved in a lot of publications and magazines this year as well.

What are you most excited to experience at McMaster Engineering?
I am most excited to experience the tight-knit community of McMaster Engineering.

Your McMaster Engineering experience so far, summed up in one sentence.
We’re all in this together.

What field of engineering do you hope to specialize in?
I plan to specialize in Mechanical Engineering.

What are your career ambitions?
At some point I definitely want to get a job in the biomedical field. I’d also like to be able to work all over the world and experience the world as well as engineering.

Outside of school, what are you most passionate about?
I love to play guitar, sail, and ski. Those are the three main things I really love to do.

What are you most excited to experience at McMaster Engineering?
The community of the Fireball Family. It has such a great reputation and even just throughout welcome week I’ve already experienced so many great things. Additionally, the summer research position is going to be a really great experience.

Your McMaster Engineering experience so far, summed up in one sentence.
Crazy hard, crazy fun.

What field of engineering do you hope to specialize in?
I hope to specialize in Chemical Engineering or maybe Materials Engineering. I really like chemistry. I am open to the other streams as well.

What are your career ambitions?
I hope to do something related with the environment, energy, water treatment, or maybe even medical devices. Things to help people.

Outside of school, what are you most passionate about?
I am very passionate about Jesus. I am involved in church as well as some smaller study groups on campus. That’s a big part of my life. I am also interested in photography right now, which is pretty cool.

What are you most excited to experience at McMaster Engineering?
I am excited about learning new skills. I haven’t had many opportunities to learn the technical side: CAD is all new, coding is new, and I think it’s really cool.

Your McMaster Engineering experience so far, summed up in one sentence.
Community, community, community—it’s a great community!

What field of engineering do you hope to specialize in?
Civil Engineering with the Management program. Following my degree, I’d like to specialize in environmental engineering.

What are your career ambitions?
My main career goal is to be working in an environmental field with an engineering background.

Outside of school, what are you most passionate about?
I am very passionate about the environment. I was co-founder of the Plastic-Free London campaign, which focuses on reducing waste in restaurants and food businesses in London. On top of the environment, I like to play sports. I’m on the tennis team here at McMaster. I do a lot of extracurriculars to keep a balance between academics and life in general.

What are you most excited to experience at McMaster Engineering?
I’m most excited to experience all the opportunities that the program has to offer, especially in terms of co-op and the summer research award. I don’t know where it will take me, but I’m excited to find out in the years to come.

Your McMaster Engineering experience so far, summed up in one sentence.
It has surpassed my expectations by a lot and I’m really excited for the years to come.

What field of engineering do you hope to specialize in?
I hope to specialize in Engineering Physics. Within that, the specialization of biomedical engineering really interests me.

What are your career ambitions?
I would like to one day work in the biomedical field and help develop new technologies to improve that field.

Outside of school, what are you most passionate about?
Outside of school, I’m really passionate about helping in the community. I like to be involved and take pride in community events. For example, in high school I was involved with the city of Brampton and I was a part of one of their committees.

What are you most excited to experience at McMaster Engineering?
At McMaster, the biggest thing that caught my attention was the number of research opportunities that are offered. Research is something I’d hope to be involved in during my time here.

What field of engineering do you hope to specialize in?
Mechanical Engineering and Society. I also want to specialize in astronomy.

What are your career ambitions?
I want to work in the field of automation since I really like robotics and design. On the other hand, I worked a co-op in a lab at McMaster during high school and that was pretty cool, so maybe that will open the doors to a lab career in the future.

Outside of school, what are you most passionate about?
Robotics. I’ve been a part of robotics for a very long time. Also, I'm passionate about girls in STEM and promoting women in engineering. We should be able to 3D print, design and be innovative too, so I’m really passionate about that.

What are you most excited to experience at McMaster Engineering?
The community was a really big thing, and I’m excited to participate in events and become a part of the engineering community.

Your McMaster Engineering experience so far, summed up in one sentence.
So far things have been difficult but welcoming enough that is has been really fun.
