Gamal Eldeeb has been announced as the winner of the Transport Canada Scholarship

McMaster Civil Engineering Graduate student, Gamal Eldeeb has been announced as the winner of the Transport Canada Scholarship from the Canadian Transportation Research Forum for the Economics, Efficiency and Competitiveness in Transportation stream. The total value of the scholarship is $6,000. His research focuses on introducing a systemic assessment and optimization of public transit services. The research employs state-of-the-art choice modelling techniques, network science, multicriteria spatial analytics, and an agent-based approach to arrive to optimal transit service.

“A team of five Mac students (3 PhD & 2 undergraduate) presented their research at the CTRF conference across multiple domains including transit performance, network robustness, electric vehicles, and UAVs system. Their work was very well perceived by the scientific committee. Two PhD students were awarded the Transport Canada graduate scholarship this year."
