The Centre for Automotive Materials and Corrosion (CAMC) is located in the McMaster Automotive Resource Centre (MARC) at 200 Longwood Road South. CAMC's research focuses on materials engineering including themes like light-weight material systems, material degradation and protection, and joining issues as they apply to automotive material innovations. With a wide range of instruments and capabilities, CAMC is also able to tackle challenges facing industries like pipelines, sensors, and biomaterials. Please contact us to discuss how our research facilities can assist you to answer questions arising in your research.
Director(s)
The Steel Research Centre was set up to encourage substantial involvement by its industrial members. Member companies provide both technical and management guidance through Program Review Groups, as well as representation on the Centre’s Board. The lines of communication are shown in the diagram, relating the member companies, Program Review & Project Groups in each core area, and the Board.
Inter-disciplinary projects are illustrated by the overlapping of Process Metallurgy and Control Groups.
