Overview

This session will provide an overview of McMaster University Library's engineering resources, explore strategies to effectively navigate the literature, and identify best practices for writing a literature review Participants will have the opportunity to engage with the library's electronic resources, develop a research plan, and learn more about how the library can support their unique research needs.

Matls 701/702 Seminars are a continuing tradition within the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. Graduate students prepare and present a major seminar based upon extensive research work and literature surveys on their topic of current research. Seminars occur every Thursday during the Fall 2020 term (September - December) virtually from 2:00 p.m. to 2:40 p.m. via MS Teams, join through the following MS Teams code: ffuvgr3 .
