Learning outside the classroom

FIRST Robotics, meet McMaster Engineering. Our team of recruiters toured the USA, travelling from our home base in Hamilton, Ont., Canada, to meet top students at two of the world's biggest student competitions: FIRST Robotics World Championship in Detroit and DECA International Development Conference in Orlando this April.

Looking to get your hands dirty? Want to work in teams to develop engineering and leadership skills? McMaster is the place for you. We are home to more than 300 student clubs and teams.

We have a special partnership with FIRST Robotics, including 10 scholarships valued at $15,000 for FIRST alumni worldwide. For the last three years, we have hosted an Ontario district competition.

FIRST, did you meet McMaster Engineering in Detroit?

We were the only Canadian engineering school at the Innovation Faire & Scholarship Row at the FIRST Championship in Detroit from April 24-27. Check out this recap of our visit.
