2022 iBioMed Connect Workshop

IN-PERSON EVENT! iBioMed students are invited to get connected during this optional and FREE 5-day workshop. Get an intro to MATLAB, Python, 3D printing, productivity essentials, and more - not to mention a hackathon on days 4 and 5!

What is iBioMed Connect?

iBioMed Connect is an optional 5-day skills workshop for all iBioMed students. Sessions include programming fundamentals, CAD & 3D printing, an upper-year student panel, introductions to program resources, a two-day Hackathon and more! If you're a new iBioMed student, this is a great way to get a head start before class by learning technical and interpersonal skills. You'll also get to network with other iBioMed students and faculty.

Are you an upper-year iBioMed student who needs a bit of a refresher? No problem! Consider brushing up on your skills in our MATLAB, Python or Raspberry Pi workshops.

  • Although students may register for as many workshops as they like, we strongly encourage everyone to register for all workshops, as there will be crossover in content throughout the workshops. This is especially important for students registering for the Hackathon on days 4 and 5. All workshop content will provide tools and methods that will help as you work on your Hackathon projects.
  • iBioMed Connect is a seperate workshop series from Ember hosted by McMaster Engineering. Check out more information on Ember.
  • This workshop is only available to current iBioMed students.
