Grade 11 Biology - Biomedical Engineering (Scientific Investigation Skills and Career Exploration) Workshop

Students will get the chance to develop their own electrical engineering project by building and simulating a biomedical device online. The project will model a biomedical device that monitors prolonged UV exposure to the skin. Students will gain an appreciation for the workings of body systems, such as the integumentary system. This exciting project will help expose students to the fields of electrical engineering, computer science, and biomedical engineering, as well as how they can use technology to solve everyday problems and create devices used to help society.

Virtual workshop content will be available to those who have completed the online registration. Please encourage other co-workers to complete the online registration in order to access the video material so we can maintain the integrity of our tracking systems.
