Entrance Scholarships Application Form

The scholarship application deadline has passed. Any submissions receieved after February 14th may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

There are over $1,000,000 in scholarships and research awards available! ONLY ONE APPLICATION is required to be considered for all eligible awards. All supporting documentation can be attached to this form.

Please note that there is no specific word limit for your responses. We are looking for you to get your ideas across concisely in a paragraph or two. You will be evaluated on the quality of your answer and not the length.

Reference letters should support your leadership experiences and attributes as well as your involvement in extra-curricular activities in your school or community. If you are involve with FIRST Robotics, SHAD, or DECA please ensure that at least one (1) of your letters of reference verifies your involvement (i.e. a teacher, community member, or organization member involved with the group). PDF format is strongly preferred. If your school has a policy where reference letters cannot be released, please inform your referee to email thinkeng@mcmaster.ca and to include your full name and McMaster student number in that email. Please remove all special characters from your Reference Letter filenames. This includes all symbols, apostrophes, and spaces. Release of Information
We sometimes receive request for information about award recipients from donors who sponsor specific awards or from University departments who have contact with these donors. Although it is normal practice to release the recipient's name, we could be asked for the program of study, year, address (including email) or telephone number.
