Dr. Rong Zheng is a Professor in the Dept. of Computing and Software. She is also an associate member of the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engr., a member of the School of Computational Science and Engineering, and a member of the McMaster Insitute of Research on Aging in McMaster University, Canada. Rong Zheng is a Joseph Ip Distinguished Engineering Fellow from July 1, 2015 to June 30th, 2018. She is a member of the MacData institute, and a Principle Investigator of the Computing Infrastructure Research Centre (CIRC).
Dr. Rong Zheng’s research lies at the intersection of mobile computing, wireless networking and active machine learning. Details of her current active research projects can be found at this Dropbox link.
MacQuest 2.0 was released in Google Play. MacQuest is a McMaster campus navigation and map mobile app developed by the Wireless System Research Group.

Wireless system research group captured the first prize in indoor localization competition in IPSN’17 in the infrastructureless category.
