Our expertise is in the microfabrication technology and in microfluidics. We are interested in developing fabrication and integration processes for new materials in microdevices. We are also interested in developing components such as micropumps, microvalves, micromixers and microfluidic nozzles that could be used in a number of applications. We apply this expertise to build innovative micro and nanoscale devices for use in environmental and medical diagnostics, drug discovery, drug delivery and as artificial organs.
Specific Research Interests
Environmental sensors and continuous monitoring systems
Medical diagnostic sensors and lab on chip devices
Microfluidic devices for drug discovery and high throughput screening
Artificial Organs
Bioprinting and Cultivated Meat
3D printing of silicones and reactive polymers
Additive manufacturing methods for sensors and microfluidic devices
Smart textiles and protective wearables
