Department Showcase (10 a.m. – 3 p.m. – MacEng Tent on JHE Lawn): Connect with faculty, staff and current students from each of our Faculty of Engineering departments in front of the John Hodgins Engineering Building. Also connect with Engineering Recruitment, Venture and EMBER representatives.
Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) Info Sessions (11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in ETB 235/236): Learn about the B. Tech. program and how to create technological advancements in the three direct entry programs, including Automotive & Vehicle Engineering Technology, Automation Engineering Technology and Biotechnology.
Computer Science Info Sessions (11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in ITB 137): Computer Science takes the theoretical and brings it to life in practical applications. It is a direct-entry four year program where students learn programming, software design, systems and theoretical foundations.
Engineering I Info Sessions (10 a.m., 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. in BSB 147): Learn about first year and beyond as we explore the 12 Engineering disciplines, including: Chemical, Chemical & Bioengineering, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Physics, Materials Science, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Software, Management and Society.
Integrated Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences (iBioMed) Info Sessions (11 a.m. and 1 p.m. in MDCL 1105): The iBioMed program is an interdisciplinary program that will give students a strong foundation in both Engineering and Health Sciences. Students will have a common first year before choosing to specialize in either Engineering or Health Sciences and Entrepreneurship.
Engineering Co-op Info Session (11 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. in JHE 376): Preparing students for the future of work, today. Engineering Co-op & Career Services helps students gain meaningful work experience and develop industry-specific skills before they graduate. In the 2021/2022 academic year, 7000+ job opportunities were available to students from over 600 companies including Tesla, IBM Canada, Deloitte and more!
Engineering Tours (10 a.m.–3 p.m. – MacEng Tour Tent on JHE lawn): Explore all of the McMaster Engineering buildings, facilities and services with our Engineering Student Ambassadors. Tours will be available every 30 minutes and last one hour. Don’t have time for a full tour? Try our new DIY Tour! Check-in and DIY options are available at the tent!
Clubs & Teams Booth (10 a.m.– 3 p.m. – Located in and around HATCH): Connect with our MacEng Clubs & Teams representatives to see how you can join in on the fun! Technical Clubs & Teams are inside HATCH garage. Non-Technical Clubs, Teams and Equity-Deserving Groups are in the tent on the HATCH lawn.
