Overview

McMaster Engineering's Fall Preview is a great opportunity for prospective undergraduate students to learn about our world-class programs, see our beautiful campus, and speak with knowledgeable and friendly students, faculty, and staff!

Take guided tours of our campus and state-of-the-art facilities and learn about our four programs: Engineering, Integrated Biomedical Engineering & Health Sciences, Bachelor of Technology, and Computer Science.

Faculty of Engineering Program Fair: meet with reps from each of our level 1 programs (B.Tech., CompSci, Engineering, & iBioMed) and from our upper year engineering program departments. Talk to our Engineering Co-op and Career Services team and learn about pre-university summer camps.

FACULTY OF ENGINEERING 101: Interested in STEM, but not sure which degree is right for you? In this session, we’ll introduce you to all of our direct-entry program options in the Faculty of Engineering, including: Bachelor of Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, and Integrated Biomedical Engineering & Health Sciences. We’ll provide an overview of entrance requirements, application procedures, scholarships, co-op, and clubs & teams.

FACULTY OF ENGINEERING CO-OP INFORMATION SESSION: Every student in the Faculty of Engineering has access to the co-op program. The best part? You decide when you would like to complete co-op and we’ll help you get there. In 2018-2019 more than 2,000 of our students were out on 4, 8, 12, or 16 month co-ops around the world!

ENGINEERING 1 INFORMATION SESSION: We are reimagining engineering education. Our Engineering 1 common first year has been revamped to focus on experiential, collaborative, and project-based learning. We will teach you to be the engineer who sees only solutions, not problems. Regardless of which discipline you choose after first year (there are more than 28 combination!), you’ll get more than just a degree at McMaster; you will gain skills and experiences outside of the classroom in co-op, clubs & teams, international exchange, and more.

BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY INFORMATION SESSION: Learn about the Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) combined degree/diploma program, where students are positioned to be at the forefront of change in engineering industries. With more than 750 hours of labs, 25% of the curriculum dedicated to business, and average class sizes of 40-60 students, this program is like no other.

INTEGRATED BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING & HEALTH SCIENCES:  The iBioMed program is an interdisciplinary undergraduate program that will give students a strong foundation in both engineering and health sciences. Students will have a common first year before choosing to specialize in either engineering or health sciences and entrepreneurship.
