Two Part Workshop Series led by Melissa Anders - Developing Your Writing Process and Mindset

Overview

The Surprising Secret First Step to Silencing Your Inner Critic

The voice of your inner critic can be loud, especially when we are writing. Your inner critic may be doubtful, questioning, confusing, overanalyzing, perfecting or uncertain. There is another part of you that has a desire to be clear, confident and using your time effectively to complete your writing projects and share your contributions. So, how do we silence our inner critic and grow the voice that is supporting us to write?

In this workshop, you will learn how to shift your relationship with your inner critic that’s holding you back, and recognize that there’s another part of them that has a desire to move forward and share their contributions. You will learn how to take practical steps changing the conversation with your inner critic, identify ways of connecting with the helpful, more compassionate part of yourself, and move forward with your writing with more ease and enjoyment as a result.
