She then moved to the New York City area, where she eventually served as a Senior Vice President. Following that position, she transitioned into an executive role with GE Power Services, which she held until earlier this year.

“I am currently enjoying a sabbatical from the working world, enjoying getting more involved with my children's schools and sporting teams, while I re-charge and enter the next phase of my career,” she says. “This time for reflection and introspection has been a gift, and I am excited for what lies ahead.”

For today student’s, she advises nimbleness in the face of challenges and opportunities.

“The pace of change and evolution in the marketplace is even faster now than it was when I graduated 17 years ago,” she says. “So think of your career as a journey, and not someplace to arrive to or a status to be achieved. Don’t forget that any status can be short-lived.”
