Health and Wellness

COAST (Crisis Outreach and Support Team)   905-972-8338

Hamilton’s crisis line is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The COAST mobile team, consisting of a mental health worker, and a police officer, will respond to crisis calls between the hours of 8 a.m. and 1 a.m. daily.

 Student Wellness Centre

The Student Wellness Centre is the place on campus to address your wellness needs. We provide a range of counselling options, medical services and wellness programs so that you can get the most out of your McMaster experience, academically and personally!

Sexual Violence Support

This website is a place where survivors of all backgrounds and social identities can find support and information about sexual, intimate partnership or family violence including rape. It’s also a place where campus members can find tips on how to provide the best support possible to survivors who disclose sexual, intimate partnership or family violence.

Services for international students are provided through personal consultation (walk-in or via appointment) or through workshops and presentations on topics which include: cultural transition support, referral services on issues related to Citizenship and Immigration Canada, new student orientation and cross cultural information, and a mentorship program.
