Info Session for $1 Million Business Venture Competition

Organizers of the annual TiEQuest Business Venture Competition are holding an information session at McMaster on Monday, January 19 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. in ITB-AB102.
The last date to submit entries for the competition is January 30. Entries are being restricted to 200 entrepreneurs. For details, visit: www.tiequest.org.
Nimesh Bahl and Cristian Nunez, Master's students in the Xerox Centre for Engineering Entrepreneurship and Innovation program, won first prize at last year's competition for their start-up company Liquid Fiber Displays. They received $125,000 in cash prizes and incentives, and investment opportunities of up to $1 million from sponsoring companies.
The TiEQuest Business Venture Competition is organized by The Indus Entrepreneurs Toronto Association and held in Toronto. It is organized to encourage entrepreneurship, engage emerging entrepreneurial talent and to create an ecosystem of entrepreneurship. The mission of TiEQuest is to connect entrepreneurs and business enthusiasts with the private equity and venture capital industry.
