Two Staff Recognized for Going the Extra Mile

Two staff members, both from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, received special recognition at McMaster this year for outstanding contributions.
Terrence (Terry) Greenlay, Manager of Facilities, received a President’s Award for Outstanding Service in 2008 in the individual category.
Cheryl Gies, Graduate Administrative Assistant, was awarded the Graduate Students Association Award for Contributions by Non-Academic Staff.
Also nominated for a President’s Award was Kathy Goodram, Administrator, Chemical Engineering.
Terry was presented with his award on May 14 at the annual awards ceremony presided by the University President. He received $1,500 and has had his name added to a Roll of Honour.
