Awards Gala Kicks-Off Engineering Week in Hamilton-Halton

Members of the Faculty of Engineering and McMaster University are invited to participate in the 2009 Hamilton-Halton Engineering Week Awards Gala on Saturday, February 28.

The event kicks-off a week dedicated to recognizing contributions made by the engineering profession to society. It also celebrates the outstanding contributions made by three engineering projects over the past year through the Project of the Year Awards.

This year's award winners are all new start-up ventures formed at McMaster: Digital Dash by Tim Pryor, Swingnature by Kelly Curry, and the CPR Glove by Corey Centen, Nilesh Patel and Sarah Smith. Click HERE for descriptions.

 

 

The event is being held at the Burlington Golf and Country Club starting with cocktails at 6:00 p.m., dinner at 7:00 p.m., awards at 8:30 p.m. and dancing starting at 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $150 per couple. Tables of eight or ten can also be reserved.
