Paulin Coulibaly Receives John C. Holland Award

Paulin Coulibaly, associate professor of civil engineering, was awarded a John C. Holland Award for professional/business achievement at the 13th Annual Rev. John C. Holland Awards dinner on Saturday, February 6.

Prof. Coulibaly was recognized for his research achievements, which are in the area of water resources and hydrologic modeling, and his contributions to the community. He sits on the board of the Settlement and Integration Services Organization.

Rev. John C. Holland was an active member of the Hamilton community. He was the son of a runaway slave who achieved his dream of becoming a minister. He was named Distinguished Citizen of the Year in 1953 and passed away the following year.

The awards evening is held at the beginning of Black History Month and hosted by the Black History Committee in Hamilton.
