School of Engineering Practice Open House

Graduate students will be showcasing their research at an open house being organized by the Walter G. Booth School of Engineering Practice on Monday, March 23 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Information Technology Building (ITB) at McMaster, room A113A/B.
The Open House provides an opportunity for interested students in engineering, science, health science and related programs to speak with their peers and faculty about master’s programs in engineering entrepreneurship and innovation, engineering and public policy, and engineering design.
Some of the projects being exhibited include:
• Pedestrian bridge across CN tracks in Hamilton
• Scheduling with agents systems
• Solar powered car charging station
• Hybrid modeling of separation units
• .NET based user interface for supply chain network modeling
• Portable power in a lightweight package
• PatraTec
Refreshments will be available.
The Walter G. Booth School of Engineering Practice and its Centres provide a new concept in engineering education. The school recognizes the need for life-long learning opportunities for engineers and scientists by providing a unique vehicle to enhance career horizons. The School is home to the Xerox Centre for Engineering Entrepreneurship and Innovation (XCEEi), Dofasco Centre for Engineering and Public Policy (DCEPP), and GMC Centre for Engineering Design (GMCED).
