McMaster's solar cell research featured in Toronto Star

Stories highlighting the extensive growth of solar cell research underway in the Faculty of Engineering was featured in the March 10 issue of the Toronto Star.

The articles reference work underway in the Department of Engineering Physics by professor Ray LaPierre with Cleanfied Energy to develop nanowire solar cells; professors Rafael Kleiman and John Preston with ARISE Technologies to develop multi-junction solar cells on silicon; and by professor Adrian Kitai who is developing flexible solar cells through a company he is forming with students enrolled in the Xerox Centre for Engineering Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
