Now that you know you are coming to McMaster for Engineering I, Integrated Biomedical Engineering & Health Sciences (iBiomed), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Computer Science I we have prepared a list of some useful information and links to help you start the next phase of your student life!

Course registration made easy

Our helpful, informational videos will walk you through the registration process for incoming undergraduate students. Students entering Engineering I, iBiomed, B.Tech. or Computer Science I will be able to select courses for the September 2018 entry on Mosaic late June, 2017.

Student Life in the Faculty of Engineering

The McMaster Engineering Society is a student-run McMaster Engineering body in the Faculty of Engineering that aims to promote a balanced student lifestyle. The MES offers various programs such as a $5 Tutoring Program, Annual Book Swaps, and an expansive textbook library.

If you want to ask questions of our students before you get here in September, our MES Mentorship Program "Ask an Undergraduate Engineer" will connect you to an upper year MacEng student who can offer advice and make you feel at home with your decision to come to Mac! Just email!

Classes & Textbooks

Check out the required Engineering I and Computer Science I courses you will be taking. Review our list of approved complementary electives for Engineering I students. You'll find course descriptions for these electives in the Undergraduate Calendar.

First Year Student Orientation

Tuition & Financial Aid

As part of the registration process, students must complete their tuition payment . If you have questions about tuition or other fees, please visit the Student Accounts & Cashiers page.

PLEASE NOTE: Your student loan or "OSAP" funding will NOT be deposited to your McMaster student account on your behalf. Entitlements will be deposited directly to your personal bank account. You are responsible for making required payments to their McMaster student account by the proper deadlines.
