International Experience

Students enrolling in an Engineering & International Studies program will be strongly encouraged to participate in the Faculty of Engineering’s Study Abroad Program, where students travel abroad to take technical or elective courses towards their McMaster degree. 

Those electing to participate in our co-op program will also be encouraged to select at least one work placement outside Canada.  The objective is to develop highly skilled Engineering graduates who are better able to function globally, with an appropriate background and sensitivity to historical, political, religious and cultural contexts.
