Flexible Co-Op

At McMaster, E&M students can choose co-op work terms of four, eight, twelve or sixteen months.  They can choose the number of co-op work terms they take (between one and four).  They can choose to take from four to 28 months of co-op work time or not to do any co-op work at all.  This flexibility allows them to work for several different employers to sample different work experiences and/or to spend a long work term with one to learn a business in depth. 

Students must have completed their next-to-final year of studies in order to be eligible for work terms of 8, 12 or 16 months' duration.
