"You're not going to impress someone by knowing good table manners, but you run the risk of turning them off if you don't have good table manners"
- Carol Haislip, International School of Protocol
Did you know that good table manners can be the deciding factor in you getting a job or a promotion? Employers equate good manners and the ability to feel comfortable in a dining setting with leadership and professionalism. With so much at stake, you won’t want to be caught using the wrong fork, drinking from another guest's glass, misplacing your napkin or even worse, reaching across the table for the salt and pepper. To ensure you always make the best possible impression join us in welcoming Lorna Somers for an interactive five-course dinner where she will walk us through general etiquette practice with a focus on table manners and the finer points of formal dining.
This event is perfect for students preparing for job interviews in the working world or anyone interested in improving their etiquette ease. Etiquette dinners are sold out every year, so to avoid missing out on this event get your ticket early!
If you have any questions, concerns or dietary restrictions please bring them to our attention by email or phone, 905-525-9140 ext 24906.
