“Building Innovation Ecosystems”

Mac Engineering is coming to Toronto!

Please join Dean of Engineering, Ishwar Puri, and special alumni panel guests as they discuss how to identify, develop and flourish in an innovation ecosystem. This discussion will focus on innovation, addressing questions around building blocks that allow for continuous improvement in technologies (or disruptive technologies in some cases) that enhance the human experience and how entrepreneurs are finding niche markets in these areas of improvements.
Innovation is driven by technology, business and consumer attitudes, and successful market penetration. Early inventions like the rotary phone lead to wireless communication and cloud computing. The Ford Model T likewise has taken a path towards autonomous vehicles and parcel delivery via drones. Our panel will represent a broad industry sector.
