A sustainable world. New energy. Earth Hour.

The environment is on everyone’s mind. Canada’s modern day culture, society, industry and economy all depend on a reliable and constant source of energy.

McMaster and the sustainable world.

Join us for cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and an engaging discussion by Dr. David Wilkinson, Dean of Engineering, as he discusses the challenges facing today's engineers as they strive to minimize the environmental and societal impact of energy and resource choices. Learn what we are doing at McMaster and how we are preparing our future engineers to create a sustainable world.

David Wilkinson was recently awarded the title of "Distinguished University Professor", one of eight faculty members who hold the title at the University. He began his role as Dean, Faculty of Engineering on April 1st, 2008, after serving in the Faculty for twenty-nine years. He is a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (CIM) and a Fellow of the American Ceramic Society.
