First Year Courses

A first-year engineering student at McMaster generally takes these classes.

In addition to these courses, a first-year engineering student can elect to take 2 complementary studies elective courses. While these two courses are not required for entry into Level 2 programs, they are required for graduation. Successful completion of all technical courses listed in the table are required for entry into Level 2 programs.
