Although the Co-op program is a mandatory part of your education, finding a job is not guaranteed - this is a competitive process and students are competing for positions with other McMaster students as well as with students from other universities.
January 8-month Work Terms Recruitment Cycle: September – December TIP: Begin your job search in September. Many employers will have application deadlines in September, October and November in addition to December. May 4-month Work Terms Recruitment Cycle: December - May TIP: Begin your job search in January/February, the majority of companies will post their opportunities for summer Co-op jobs during these months. |
Degree Completion Program
Once you enroll in your program, you may be required to complete one or two Co-op work terms (4-months each). Your academic advisor will have discussed with you specific timelines for when to complete these work terms.
DCP students who require Co-op and have completed the 1ET0 course, will be given access to OSCAR.
