Undergraduate Studies
The McMaster Civil Engineering Undergraduate programmes are designed to permit studies over a broad base of fundamental topics. Students have the opportunity to specialize in specific areas or maintain a general introduction to the spectrum of areas in Civil Engineering upon entry to the upper years of the programme. Structural Design; Water Resources and Environmental Engineering;Geotechnical; and Transportation Engineering are the core disciplines of the Civil Engineering program. The recognized high level of research activity of the Civil faculty ensures that course work is a the forefront of engineering and relationships with local industry allows students to engage in the practical aspects of engineering, giving students the opportunity to apply theory to practice. |
