All full-time incoming M.Eng., M.A.Sc. and Ph.D.
students are considered for financial support from the Department
of Civil Engineering.
Financial assistance is normally in the form
of a teaching assistantship as well as a research scholarship which
is linked to thesis research activities that are carried out with
a research supervisor. Please note that M.Eng Project students are
not eligible for the research component for financial assistance.
There are also several university scholarships for qualified students.
In addition, we encourage all current and incoming students, if eligible,
to apply for the following awards:
- the Natural Sciences and
Engineering Research Council of Canada supports approximately 16,000
students each year through Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Postdoctoral
- the Ontario Graduate Scholarship program
is designed to encourage excellence in graduate studies at the master's
and doctoral levels.
